Services

Charleston Jewish Family Services (CJFS) offers holistic services and resources for clients, including:

  • Kosher Food Pantry – distributes nutritious food each week to those facing food insecurity;
  • Mental Health Counseling – a licensed marriage and family therapist provides mental health services, including group, family, and individual sessions;
  • Senior Outreach Initiative – connects seniors, families, and caregivers to available resources and support;
  • Jewish Education Loan Fund (JELF) – provides interest-free, need-based loans for post-secondary education for Jewish students;
  • Emergency Financial Assistance – qualified clients may receive assistance with basic needs like rent, utilities, and medical bills;
  • Shalom Baby – welcomes the newest members of our community.

The faces of CJFS are as vital and varied as the community we serve. We are continually evolving programs and services in response to the ever-changing needs of family, friends, and neighbors.

CJFS uses CharityTracker to confidentially share client data with other local agencies in order to provide more holistic care for people in need and to reduce duplication of services.
